Introduction

Apiliyasiya is a Azerbaijani word that means "appeal" or "complaint". It refers to a process of requesting a review or a re-evaluation of your exam results or scores. Apiliyasiya is a legal right that allows you to challenge your exam results if you think they are unfair, incorrect, or inaccurate.

There are different types of apiliyasiya depending on the type of exam you took. Some of the most common exams that offer apiliyasiya are:

  • Buraxılış Imtahanı (Graduation Exam): This is a mandatory exam that all students in grades 9 and 11 have to take at the end of their school year. It covers subjects such as Azerbaijani language and literature, mathematics, history, geography, foreign languages, and natural sciences. The exam results determine whether the students can graduate from their school and apply for higher education institutions.

  • Qəbul Imtahanı (Entrance Exam): This is a competitive exam that all students who want to enter higher education institutions have to take. It covers subjects such as Azerbaijani language and literature, mathematics, history, geography, foreign languages, and natural sciences. The exam results determine the ranking and the admission of the students to their preferred universities and majors.

  • Dövlət Qulluğu Vəzifələri (State Service Positions): This is a selective exam that all candidates who want to work in the public sector have to take. It covers subjects such as general knowledge, logic, ethics, law, economics, and management. The exam results determine the eligibility and the suitability of the candidates for various state service positions.

To check the results of your exam, you can visit the official website of the State Examination Center (SEC) of Azerbaijan. You can also download the SEC mobile app or call the SEC hotline. If you are not satisfied with your exam results, you can apply for apiliyasiya within a certain period of time after the announcement of the results. You will have to pay a fee and submit some documents to support your request. The SEC will review your apiliyasiya and inform you about the outcome. If your apiliyasiya is accepted, your exam results will be changed accordingly. If your apiliyasiya is rejected, your exam results will remain unchanged.
